Well one thing is for certain we won’t be short of stories to tell after COVID-19 subsides. Whatever type of business or organisation that you work in – it has changed. And with that change comes stories…hundreds and thousands of them. These will be the stories from your employees and the stories from your clients of perhaps:
- how they navigated their way through this time
- how they were assisted by your product or service
- how they innovated and created new ways of service delivery
We know from the stats that video consumption has sky rocketed during COVID-19 and that thirst for reliable, informative and emotive content will continue indefinitely. As a video production company that thrives on human storytelling we have been working with clients to tell their stories through live feeds, face to camera interviews, mobile phone capture, animations and motion graphics.
With the great news that Australia is flattening the curve we have been able to lift our filming restrictions – but like everything filming will require a new approach with safety being our number one priority for our clients and team.
So that said, if you have a vision that you would like to bring to life we would love to brainstorm with you on how to bring this to fruition. Whilst Zoom style content is totally acceptable in the short term, there will be fatigue with this type of home made, face to screen content. As we move back to more sociable lifestyles consumers will be seeking more stimulating and fresh content with visual storytelling that is ultimately more evergreen and not a reminder of life in lock down.
What will resonate most will be stories of real humanity. You don’t have to be out saving the world but you do have to be real. Don’t hide behind corporate speak. Communicate in an open and friendly way that conveys your message. People need real. They need their sense of hope restored.
