Arthritis Australia and the QUM Alliance wanted to raise awareness of gout as a serious but manageable health condition, and help Australians, especially those from diverse communities, understand the causes, symptoms and treatment options available.

We created a warm and inclusive 2D animated explainer designed to improve health literacy and bust common myths about gout. Using simple, accessible language and engaging visuals, the video explains what gout is, what causes it, and how to manage or prevent painful flare ups. The content focuses on long-term medication use and lifestyle support. The animation is now helping healthcare providers and community organisations across the country educate and empower people living with gout.
