Overview

Supporting Behaviour Change Through the Mandatory Alcohol Interlock Program

Brief

Transport for NSW commissioned us to develop a series of four videos for participants of the Mandatory Alcohol Interlock Program (MAIP). The goal was to help offenders understand their responsibilities, successfully complete the program, and ultimately reduce repeat drink driving offences in NSW. The videos needed to explain each stage of the program in clear and relatable terms while motivating participants to change behaviour and separate drinking from driving.

Solution

We created a series of four videos featuring a central character supported by diverse talent to reflect both metropolitan and regional NSW audiences. Each video focused on a key stage of the program, from the initial charge and entry requirements through to compulsory training and the final six months. Filmed scenarios illustrated common challenges and practical steps, while voiceover, supers, and graphic elements reinforced critical information. By combining scripted footage with approachable storytelling, the series provided a comprehensive and accessible learning resource that aligned with the NSW Government’s Towards Zero brand guidelines.
