Life-Changing Technology for the West

Brief

Western Health Foundation approached Laundry Lane to develop a high-impact campaign to support fundraising for the Da Vinci surgical robot. The goal was to create awareness, inspire donations from major donors, corporates and trusts, and engage the local Footscray community around the benefits of this life-changing technology. The campaign needed to be emotive, inclusive and strategically tailored across digital and physical platforms.

Solution

We proposed a multi-channel creative campaign grounded in real stories from patients, families and clinicians whose lives have been positively impacted by the Da Vinci surgical robot. The centrepiece would be a hero video, supported by testimonial films, animated video postcards and social cutdowns. These assets would work together to communicate the benefits of precision surgery – less invasive procedures, faster recovery and improved outcomes – delivered through an emotional and accessible lens.

All content would be visually cohesive, community-led and aligned with Western Health’s values. Through regular strategy sessions and marketing workshops, the campaign would stay adaptable and effective throughout its rollout. This approach is designed to build long-term engagement, strengthen donor relationships and boost visibility for the Foundation’s work.
